For many
years the streets surrounding the famous Soi Binta Baht was known as the one
and only town centre of Hua Hin. As Hua Hin is growing into a town for locals, foreign
and domestic tourism we see more spots that function as a town centre.
Most can remember that Hua Hin used to have one small supermarket and later the
first shopping mall arises that brought the second supermarket.
Even though all these resources still exist, Hua Hin offers more today with not
everything surrounding one central spot. Many spots serve as town centre now to
serve the stretching and growing community Hua Hin.
We see many
old, respected, loved and well known businesses move from the ‘old’ town center
of Hua Hin. Like one of our favorite spots; Braze Head Tattoo Hua Hin.
In an
exclusive interview with founder and owner Cha, we ask him what brings him to
move out of the traditional town centre.
Why have
you decided to move from the spot where people have known you to be for many
years?
“As you know as well, Hua Hin is growing and the locals and tourists are often
found outside the old centre of Hua Hin. We have grown our business and needed
a bigger location and wanted to be closer to our customers”
Then who
are your customers?
“My tattoo studio Braze Head Tattoo, is getting more and more customers from a several
groups in our society. As people get to know us through the years our clientele
keeps growing and doesn’t exist out of only foreign tourists any more. Domestic
tourists but also locals find their way to our tattoo studio as they get to
know me through positive experiences from former customers.”
Would you
say you have a good reputation then?
“I think it is not in my best interest to tell people how good I think I am. We
can only learn from my past customers to keep coming back and are that satisfied
that they recommend family, friends and other people they meet to go to my
tattoo studio”
We have
heard you have the reputation of being one of the best tattoo artists in
Thailand and people travel to Hua Hin from abroad especially for your services.
How do you think you got this reputation?
“If you say this is my reputation, I trust to it that you did your research,
but all that I can say is that I work hard and try to make every new tattoo as
good as I can. I can only hope that
customers can appreciate this and so far I have had good reviews.”
